For educational psychologists, SEN solicitors, SENCOs & placement consultants
You know the gap. The family walks out with a report, a judgment or a diagnosis, and then asks: what do we actually do now?
Zoe Aspinall's practice exists inside that gap. She takes the family from findings to implementation, across home and school together, and she is built to work alongside you, not around you.
What the practice is, and is not
Zoe Aspinall spent twenty years in classrooms, holds a Masters in Neuroscience, and works from the Ecological Inclusion Framework: a six-domain model of how environments shape cognitive load, regulation and functioning. Her engagements run ninety days: a full assessment of the child's home and school environments, a written family strategy, guided implementation, and direct work with the school, including attending the meetings that matter.
The boundaries, in writing. She does not diagnose, does not provide therapy or clinical treatment, does not act as an expert witness, and does not replace any clinical relationship a family holds. Families are actively encouraged to continue with their psychologist, psychiatrist or therapist. Where a need is primarily clinical, she refers onward first and supports after. She works with a maximum of twenty families a year.
The process
What happens when you refer
- You hand the family a link or a booklet. A referral link carrying your name is available, so the family's first step reflects well on you.
- They complete a short assessment. Fifteen questions, three minutes, no child's name collected. They receive a written profile of the pattern the same day.
- Zoe responds within one working day to any family you send, and the first conversation happens within the week.
- You receive a thank-you note, and, with the family's written consent, a brief outcome note at ninety days.
- Your relationship with the family is protected. She never replicates your service, never undercuts you, and sends families back to you for the work that is yours.
The first stage of every engagement is unconditionally guaranteed: if the family does not believe the Assessment will change things, they pay nothing and keep the document. You are never in the position of having recommended something a family regrets buying.
